Here is the console after being re-assembled. The stripper and the finisher had quite a time getting the old pickled green finish off so that it would take the new finish but everything worked out in the end. The piece of wood to the left on the top of the console is part of the new case (it appears gray in the photo but is good match in real life) and the small piece on the right is the color sample provided by the church.

Here is a closeup view of the Wicks action installed in the windchest.

This is the main swell windchest (upside down) with the toeboards, containing the new Wicks Direct-Electric action installed and wired, installed and the bottom boards ready to be installed.

End of Week 2

Today saw the completion of the great reconstruction. Here you see the chest of the great division. The new chests are elevated on legs above the existing chests. New regulators are on the floor under the main chest. Next is the new action in the present chests and then wiring. The console is currently at the furniture stripper's and then it will go to the finisher's on Wednesday.
